#SinfulSunday – DIY Toys

Making one’s own toys can be fun.  The Bad Kitty is quite useful at making his own cattle prod type toys.  Doesn’t take too long either.  It’s one way of spending a Sunday morning…

It really isn’t that difficult, all the items needed are in the photo below (the tea is optional).

Is the cup of coffee part of the required parts too, or is that just a Sunday morning thing?

Hi Molly, thanks for dropping by. Whatever beverage gets you awake and coherent enough to handle a soldering iron safely is fine :)

What a crafty kitty you are. We should look into making a few toys together sometime. I’d love to learn :)

Interesting; where’s the circuit diagram 😉

    • badkitty May 21, 2013 at 12:10 am Reply

Hi John, thanks for coming by. The “cattle prod” came about some years back through a complaint about inappropriate behaviour at parties, a chat Bad Kitty had with a violet wand vendor and seeing a similar discussion online somewhere which did include some kind of circuit diagram by way of explanation. There have been variations on the prod theme but the principle and effect is the same :)

Hi Silverdrop, thanks for coming by :) Nobody’s ever said “Yikes!” when they’ve seen or been zapped by the prod 😀

Hi G, thanks for your kind words :) There’s a story behind these “cattle prods” which may be told at some point 😀

Is this your equivalent of being on your back under a car, BK? I like your ‘work station’ It equally intrigues me & fills me with dread all at the same time.. :)

Hi Pea, thanks for your kind words. Bad Kitty would much prefer to be on his back under Foxette with a strapon 😀

Oh, that’s cool! Wish I was more handy.

    • badkitty May 22, 2013 at 5:50 pm Reply

Hi Rayne, thanks for coming by and your kind words. There is an untold story of blasphemy when touching the soldering iron and swearing when things go wrong… 😀

I hope they turn out for you. :)

Hi Beck, thanks for dropping in :) Each version made is an improvement on the previous one and looks much much better than the first effort!
